This is our last email of the year! Woohoo!

One of my favourite traditions is our end-of-year review. We review our highlights, lowlights and numbers. All kinds of numbers! Everything from revenue and profit to conversion and retention rate to new sales inquiries. The last one is pretty juicy. So I thought I’d share it with you.

Below is a summary of where our sales inquiries came from this year.

  • Where did the new inquiries come from?
    • 63% from Canada
    • 33% from USA
    • 1% from Australia
  • When did they contact us?
    • Mostly in March, April and October.
  • Who were they?
    • 46% were designers and architects
    • 11% were builders and contractors
    • 11% were furniture makers and procurement
    • 7% were building products and suppliers
    • 25% from other industries
  • How did they find us?
    • 39% from referrals
    • 29% from Google
    • 11% from podcasts
    • 7% from this email newsletter (!!!)
    • 4% from social media
  • Our conversion rate was 54%.

Tracking our inquiries throughout the year makes it pretty easy for us to come up with this summary at the end of the year.
