Sloan Co Design is a full-service interior design studio based in Orange County, California. Owned by Amanda Sloan, the studio specializes in residential remodels and new builds.
The Goal
To develop a strong SEO foundation and rely less on social media for inquiries
When the client first reached out, her interior design business didn’t have a website. She wanted her new website to be optimized for SEO so she could generate more leads and rely less on social media for inquiries.
The Challenge
Limited resources meant that implementation was up to DIY strategies.
The client had been running her interior design studio solely using Instagram for the first 1-2 years of business. Additionally, she was DIY-ing most of her digital marketing efforts. When it came to the website design, she was handling most of the tasks herself or with a junior designer who needed more hand-holding.
The Results
SEO-friendly website built for generating leads.
After six months of collaboration, we successfully helped Sloan Co Design launch an SEO-friendly and traffic-generating website to collect leads and inquiries for their interior design services. The website grew from 0 to an average of 895 visitors per month. They quickly rose to the #2 ranking for ‘interior design Orange County,’ after previously not ranking at all.
The Solution
A comprehensive SEO strategy built for growth.
We stepped into the role of a guide and supported Sloan Co Design with its new website build. This included guiding the client and her designer on how to structure each webpage for SEO performance and user experience.
1. Strategy
To help the client with the new website, we created a sitemap and advised her on how to structure her pages for SEO results. We provided wireframes for each page, including instructions on which keywords to use, how to structure each page, and how to improve the user experience.
2. Website Optimization
We gave their website developer technical SEO guidelines to follow when creating the website. Furthermore, we set up a Google Business Profile for the client to help better rank on Google search results. We also set up and optimized SEO analytics for the website.
3. Content
We conducted tailored keyword research and provided copywriting briefs for each page to help rank for the chosen keywords. Additionally, we provided training on how to write SEO-friendly copy.
